Thanks to OMGE for CTC
It gives me a great pleasure to introduce this issue of news letter. Here within you will find details about the Inauguration congress of Cairo Training Centre ( CTC ) in collaboration with the Egyptian Association for the Study of Gastrointestinal and Liver Diseases (SGLD) .
Prof.Hussein Abdel Hamid , the director of CTC did a very god job to make success for CTC and the congress . We will never forget the help of Prof.Jehan El Fandi ,dean of Theodor Bilharz institute to establish the centre with prof. Ibrahim Mostafa .
I would like to seize this opportunity to thank OMGE President prof. Tytgat and the past president of OMGE Prof. M.Classen and OMGE vice president prof. E.Quigley for their unlimited help to establish CTC .
World Organization of Gastroenterology (OMGE) supported our CTC and the congress with ideas, science and finance. OMGE invited an elite group of international speakers to enrich this great event. A special program for CTC trainee was included .
The scientific program was tailored by prof. Shuokry Hunter with assistance of prof. Mahmoud Omar to fit with the needs of our practicing gastroenterologist and hepatologists in the Middle East and Africa . The program matches with the advances in science and technology in gastroenterology and hepatology .A special program and training for young clinicians and scientists are included . Don’t miss the opening ceremony at Marriott hotel, Monday , March 1st, 6 P.M. and as will the Gall Dinner which be held following an interesting session about the Global Burden of HCV : Consensus statement .
I hope you will enjoy both the scientific program and the unforgettable social events
